Differential DiagnosisHistory: 0809sm 34 years old female with a 10 day history of an itchy burning papulovesicular rash that began on her neck and arms and spread to her trunk and now slowly down her legs. A few shotty glands no systemic symptoms or fever. DD Viral exanthem or allergic reaction
Description: lichenoid lymphocytic vasculitis
Comments: There is a quite dense and tight infiltrate of lymphocytes around upper and mid dermis blood vessels. In addition there is some perifollicular accumulation of lymphocytes. Also noted is an interface dermatitis with lichenoid features. The features present are those of a lichenoid lymphocytic vasculitis. This reaction pattern is associated with viral infections and sometimes seen in drug reactions.
