Description: lichenoid lymphocytic vasculitis

Comments: There is a quite dense and tight infiltrate of lymphocytes around upper and mid dermis blood vessels. In addition there is some perifollicular accumulation of lymphocytes. Also noted is an interface dermatitis with lichenoid features. The features present are those of a lichenoid lymphocytic vasculitis. This reaction pattern is associated with viral infections and sometimes seen in drug reactions.
