DFSP Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans  Multilobulated smooth surfaced tumour of the head and neck or thighs    View Virtual Slide of DFSP

Histological Features
Proliferation of monomorphous spindled cells
Entrapment of fat tissue
Dermal and subcutaneous tumour with poorly defined borders
Storeyform or cartwheel like pattern in dermis
CD 34 positive cells
Rare mitoses
Sclerosing, pigmented, giant cell, myxoid , granular cell and fibrosarcomatous variants!

Clinical Features Multilobulated tumour on shoulders or upper trunk or thighs with red blue surface and skin telangiectasia in some cases . Spreads much wider than it clinically looks.
