History: Patient 6350 GW Patient has a three year history of this red scaly rash mainly on the trunk and proximal limbs. It does not vary much with the seasons and is not itchy. No treatments have been tried. Patient has severe solar damage in exposed areas.

Description: perifollicular infiltrate with exocytosis

Comments: The superficial and papillary dermis contains a mild to moderate perivascular and interstitial infiltrate of chronic inflammatory cells comprising predominantly lymphocytes with scattered plasma cells and mild pigment incontinence. Rare eosinophils. There is no vasculitis. Changes are consistent with pityriasis lichenoides chronica.
