History: 2880hh 12 month history of extensive thickened skin with wrinkling and early blister formation on the lower abdominal wall. DD Lichen sclerosus.

Description: Imminent blistering on abdominal wall.

Comments: Sections show a biopsy of skin with a subepidermal blister. The underlying and adjacent upper dermis is hypocellular and hyalinized. Underlying this in the mid-dermis is a moderate infiltrate of lymphocytes and some plasma cells. The changes present are those of lichen sclerosus.
