History:

3406al Pigmented area on the scalp. Been traumatised. DD Pigmented BCC or melanoma as part of a collision lesion. Biopsy

Description: Dermatoscope view

Comments: Sections show a shave biopsy of a pigmented solid type of basal cell carcinoma. There is focal excoriation at one edge but no evidence of recent haemorrhage.
