Differential DiagnosisHistory: 0155bg This elderly man with one kidney and recent acute tubular necrosis without an obvious cause , rapidly developed this vasculitic rash on his legs. Probable leukocytoclastic vasculitis but immunofluorescence requested to exclude IgA nephropathy. May be drug induced
Description: Leukocytoclastic vasculitis
Comments: Sections show a mild to moderate subacute vasculitis with both leukocytoclasis and admixed eosinophils and a few lymphocytes. There is red cell extravasation. There are no epidermal changes.
