History: 4757mv This lady has scattered commedo like lesions on her lower abdominal wall. The dermoscopy image suggests trichostasis spinulosa.

Description: Dilated follicle containing several vellus hairs

Comments: Sections show a number of vellus hair shafts within a dilated and keratin plugged follicle. Only one papilla is present at the base of the hair follicle. The changes present are those of trichostasis spinulosa.
